Dale Gershowitz - age 68 of Smithtown, NY passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. Dale is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Robert, her loving children Julie (Daniel) and Beth (Ralph) and her adored grandchildren Maya and Logan. May her memory be eternal. Funeral services will be held at IJ Morris Dix Hills on Thursday, February 1, 2018 commencing at 12:00pm with interment to immediately follow at the Mt. Golda Cemetery in Huntington Station, NY. Shiva will be observed at the 'Redan" residence on Thursday from 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday 1:00pm - 5:00pm, Saturday 6:00pm - 9:00pm and on Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale's name to the Tisch MS Research Center of NY. ( www.tischms.org )

I have fond memories of Dale Bleier Gershowitz, FLHS '68, since we both took the same class and learned how to dance the Lindy in 5th grade, along with other classmates of PS 213. I was saddened to learn that she was stricken  with MS as a young adult.
