Back in the 60's, I played baseball with Steve in the Mid-Queens Boys Club and then on the Francis Lewis team. Steve was a big and friendly guy, and was a good pitcher as well. We linked up again briefly when the Lewis Alumni Directory came out in 1993. I was so sorry to read about his untimely passing.
