Oh God, I was so sorry to see this. Della and I had art classes together and I remember us making twin sculptures for some show of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. We laughed alot. She was so talented, and an inspiration for me all the way through school.
I too am really sorry to see this. Della and I were close friends until we "lost" each other during college. I had tried to find her via Google and other sources, but never succeeded, and now it is too late. As Mindy said she was a fine artist and creative soul. Very sad.
