I became to identify more and more as a Jew, religiously and otherwise. I visited Israel on a youth tour in the summer of 68 and then on a junior year abroad program. I studied social work at SUNY Buffalo, enjoying into courses in a lot of fields and I was active in Israel and Jewish related stuff. Made aliya (moved to) Israel right after graduating. Met my husband (originally from Montreal) on a kibbutz. He worked on the dairy there and I didn't get used to the communal sleeping arrangement for kids and other aspects of kibbutz life. We moved to a moshav and bought out a dairy farm from a widow. Somehow we developed and continued the farm, raising four kids on the way. My husband passed away in 2004 and I've continued on the farm with my oldest son.
