I didn't meet Stacy until FLHS, and we had a brief but good friendship. One summer she went to Israel and stayed on a kibbutz, sent me wonderfully descriptive letters while she was away, came back so tan and strong-looking. I remember taking the bus with her to Rockaway Beach. I lost contact with Stacy after high school. I am sorry to hear of her tragic diagnosis and untimely death.
